Volunteer Spotlight
An integral part of CCC’s nonprofit business model is our volunteers. This month, we give thanks to Sue! She is an amazing wife and proud mom who has helped nonprofit missions throughout the area. You can find Sue at the café on Tuesdays, organizing and packing our warrior coolers. She also inputs computer information, helps in the kitchen, and even polishes glassware, all done with a smile on her face and compassion in her heart. Sue is a reminder that we find strength in community and those around us.

More About Chefs Cycle
This June, the CCCKport team will ride 200 miles together for 2 days in Bend. OR. Their purpose is to raise funds for Share our Strength - No Kid Hungry. Their mission is to ensure every child in America has access to nutritious meals and to tackle childhood hunger by supporting school breakfasts, summer meals, and family support programs.
Fortunately, CCC has a stage and a following of fantastic patrons who support . Unfortunately, many children in our nation do not have a voice or advocates like ours. We feel compelled to stand up for their nutritional care and reiterate that proper nutrition is a fundamental right, not a privilege.
Each rider, Chef Jonathan Cartwright, Chef Selena Roy, and CCC volunteer Gary Hoover, needs to raise $4,500 to participate and raise awareness to help end childhood hunger. To donate to our ride and learn more about this impactful cause, please click here:
