Maine temperatures are cold, but we feel so much warmth from our steadfast warriors and supporting patrons.
In the month of January, we served 246 meals to our deserving families. We hosted fun events, showcasing the compassion and connection of community.
One of the points of our mission is to provide human interaction. Our welcoming team at the café provide smiles and a listening ear when you enter the door. And don't forget, Caring Community Cuisine is the perfect space for groups under 40 to gather for private events and enjoy the ambiance of the location.

The Café in Bloom
We are grateful for the beautiful flowers donated by one of our joyous patrons. They are artfully displayed throughout the café, bringing light and color to our space this month of friendship and love of all kinds.

We also thank Hannaford Supermarket who selected CCC for their "Blooming for Good" program. This philanthropic endeavor provides support to many local nonprofits. We are thrilled to be a recipient for the month of January.

February Events
In 2026, we’re offering special events each Wednesday night of the month. Each "Dinner with a Purpose" will feature different menus and some showcase local partners. The last Wednesday of the month will be "Sip with a Purpose" and is co-sponsored by our friends at Bradbury Brothers Market. This event features wine tasting with light paired bites.

Warrior Highlight
Our very first cancer warrior family came to visit the café on Sunday. It was fantastic to chat about the months that had passed since we last provided meals. We loved to hear about new happenings with each of their lovely children. We also had a quick tutorial on how to solve a Rubik's Cube from their youngest son. We appreciate their continued friendship and support. Hopeful all our warrior families find the light in our mission and remain connected.

Our Like-Minded Causes page is now active on the website. Learn more about the nonprofits we currently champion. We will be adding more organizations as our partnerships expand and grow.

Dine at our 2 Pier Road location! We are open 9am to 2pm Sunday through Tuesday.
Choose to donate through our "Giving Branch" made by @winterhilldesign. It offers monetary and operational donation suggestions.
