August 2026
We have room at the Caring Community Cuisine café for many unique characters who make our mission work. We often joke that our daily production and conversations could be the basis of a comedy show!
A typical Tuesday features:
Chef Jonathan prepares meals for the restaurant. He also ensures that everything is made with quality and love.
Gary assists Chef Jonathan with preparation and packaging of warrior meals.
Meanwhile, Bert, "AKA the Queen of Pancakes", plates delicious creations and shares stories from the past.
All meals are ready to be thoughtfully organized into cooler bags by Sue.
Sami and Tori work together to welcome guests, while ensuring all labels/instructions are ready for each meal. They also customize special surprises for our warriors, such as vibrant bouquets, mini whoopie pies, or tasty herb lemonade.
Chef Selena mingles throughout, lending a hand where needed and offering words of encouragement.
If you are able, please visit the café or Donate on our website. More funds equals more meals prepared, more families served, and more compassion in the world.
This collaboration creates a beautiful atmosphere to work together in laughter as we create nutritious meals.

The COMMUNITY aspect of Caring Community Cuisine continues to shine brightly! Consistent support through café purchases, donations, and special events allows us to provide meals services to many deserving cancer warrior families, at no cost to them.
Thank you to all who gathered for the first, hopefully annual, Cape Porpoise Social! The organizing team was humbled by the large attendance and positive feedback. What a tremendous event to promote community support and the beauty of a little coastal town! One of our pillars at Caring Community Cuisine is “community” and we thank you for continuing to amplify and support our mission.

These fundraising events have not only helped monetarily, but also have allowed us to share our mission with larger Maine areas. Thank you to our community for continuing to amplify and support our mission!
